How many times has your mind strayed from the will of GOD?
How many decisions of your heart have brought you pain?
The final question is: What is the goal of all this? Of all these discoveries during these nine chapters?
Let's discover the answer together in the light of Philippians Chapter 4:7
And the peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS.
“The ultimate goal: A heart aligned and a mind renewed in CHRIST.”
The peace that surpasses all understanding
. The natural mind seeks logical explanations, control.
. But the peace of GOD exceeds all of this, it goes beyond human logic.
. The renewed mind (Romans 12:2), recognizes that not everything needs to be understood, but rather, believed.
.A biblical example: Peter walking on the water (Matthew 14:28) – Because the natural mind seeks something logical.
Application: A renewed mind knows that the peace of GOD does not depend on external circumstances.
Hearts guarded by the peace of CHRIST:
. The heart is where emotions, affections, and desires reside. Proverbs 4:23 tells us to guard our hearts, because from them flow the issues of life.
. In the text we read in Philippians 4:7, it is not man who guards the heart, but the peace of our GOD.
. When we trust, HE comes with His peace and protects us from discouragement, wounds, and deceit of the heart.
. In 1 Samuel chapter 1. We can see Hannah with an anguished heart, but she was pacified by trusting in the LORD.
. Application: The heart aligned with GOD is at peace even before the answer.
We must keep our thoughts captive to CHRIST.
2 Corinthians 10:5 admonishes us.
GOD does not just want to control your emotions, but your thoughts.
It all starts in the mind: faith, doubt, purity, envy, fear, gratitude.
The mind that is of the SPIRIT discerns spiritual things. They speak of it in 1 Corinthians 2:16-16.
Application: You can pray, but if you continue to think like the world, your life will not change.
Central Message:
The journey of faith involves constantly submitting your mind and heart to CHRIST.
The world wants to take our mind with deceit and our heart with lusts. But the HOLY SPIRIT wants to mold both into the image of CHRIST.
A renewed mind and an aligned heart produce a transformed, fruitful and steadfast life.
I want to make a spiritual appeal to you now:
Think!
Have you given your mind to CHRIST?
Is your heart still divided?
Do you live by human logic or by faith?
Are you truly willing to allow the HOLY SPIRIT to guide your inner self completely?

THIS VERSE UNITES MIND AND HEART UNDER THE GUARD OF THE PEACE OF GOD. THIS IS THE SPIRITUAL CLIMAX OF THIS WHOLE JOURNEY.
PRAY NOW WITH AUTHORITY, CRYING OUT FOR TRANSFORMATION OF MIND AND HEALING IN THE HEART.
